“Never let your head hang down. Never give up and sit down and grieve. Find another way. And don’t pray when it rains if you don’t pray when the sun shines.”
- Leroy Satchel Paige
How do the words above resonate with you?
Pause here for a moment and free yourself from distractions:
Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...
The struggle is real! We've all struggled with things, and I'm sure struggle will return. My concern is that we are so use to struggling it has became a habit that is hard to break.

struggle /verb/
make forceful or violent efforts to get free of restraint or constriction.
What are you struggling against today?
Iyanla Vanzant’s book, Acts of Faith offered a powerful perspective on struggle and struggling people. The author states:
Struggling people know how to struggle well.
They know what to wear, where to go, how to behave in a way that will undoubtedly create more struggle.
Struggling people impose conditions, restrictions, and expectations upon themselves...
Struggling people love to sacrifice in the name of struggle.
God does not ask us to struggle.
What would it take for you to stop struggling and start living? Something to think about... spent some time with this question...
Today’s Challenge: Self discovery!
from Iyanla Vanzant’s, Until Today
Spend some time alone with a pen and a journal.
Ask yourself:
What is it that I really want for myself?
How can I turn my life into something worth celebrating?
Repeat the questions over and over until you hit pay dirt.
“Learn how to be happy with what you have while you pursue all that you want.”
-Jim Rohn
What are you willing to do?
Don’t miss your opportunity! Be intentional, encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.
You got this!
