Tuesday's Talk

Tavia Robinson

“The world as I see it is a reflection of my thoughts.”

-Iyanla Vanzant

How do the words above resonate with you?

Pause here for a moment and free yourself from distractions:

Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...

What are you thinking? at this very moment...

How are your thoughts reflected in what you see? Take your time to think about this question... not something you usually ask yourself...

Iyanla Vanzant’s excerpt in the book, Acts of Faith makes this powerful statement:

What you believe will come true whether it is good or not so good.

What has come true for you? ...Think about that for a moment...

What you believe about the world is exactly what you will experience because that is what you bring into the world.

How has your experience been? Over the past year... month... week...

"What we think determines what happens to us, so if we want to change our lives, we need to stretch our minds." -Wayne Dyer

Today’s Challenge: REFLECTION

(from Iyanla Vanzant’s, Acts of Faith)

  • Think of something you absolutely believed in that came true, even when everyone around you was full of doubt.

  • What did this manifestation teach you? Dig deep... what did you learn about yourself... about others... from the experience...

“In the province of the mind, what one believes to be true either is true or becomes true.”

-John Lilly

What are you willing to do?

Don’t miss your opportunity! Be intentional, encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.

You got this!
