Tuesday's Talk

Tavia Robinson

“When you accept things as they are, you allow yourself to make choices, that will help create the change you seek.”

― Patricia Dsouza

How do the words above resonate with you?

Pause here and free yourself from distractions:

Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...

What would you like to see change? Think about that for a moment...

In order to create any change, it becomes necessary to accept what is and use your wisdom, knowledge, experience, your unique gifts to make changes. Reading Gay Hendricks’ A Year of Living Consciously, provided this perspective:

Your heart knows everything it has experienced from birth on...
You must do something with the secrets and truths you bring forth, translating them into present-day realities.

You have what you need within you. The responsibility to change things is yours, ours, everyone’s. The mission is not impossible!

Today’s Challenge: “Your mission, should you decide to accept it.”

Think about things you’ve heard from family or friends that knew you when you were very young that clearly describe a dominate personality trait of yours:

What comes to mind? Dig deep, this is about YOU...

How have you continued to see yourself as you were defined early on? How far back can YOU remember and identify this trait..?

How have these prophecies of others continued to define you? Recently, how/where has this trait shown up..?

What can you do to use this information to your advantage? What's your plan... the choice is yours...

“The past does not define me, it ignites me. The past is not a piece of me, it has placed me”

― Ricky Maye

Knowledge is power... now, what are you willing to do?

Don’t miss your opportunity. Be intentional. Encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.

You got this!
