“Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behavior. Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.”
— Mahatma Gandhi
How do the words above resonate with you?
Pause here for a moment and free yourself from distractions:
Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...
Things often don’t turn out as planned. Then life morphs into some crazy routine that we just accept and robotically keep repeating. We loose ourselves in the process and neglect to fully maximize our inner potential.
If money didn’t exist, what would you be doing with your time? Think about that for a moment and give yourself time tp come up with an answer... write it down.
It is easy to lose sight of what’s important to us when the bills keep rolling in. Don’t loose hope.
How will you regain control of what you enjoy doing the most? That dream that has yet to come to fruition, the thangs you are passionate about...

9 Ways to Reach Your Potential Every Day: (from lifehack.com)
1. Focus on the big picture: What does the big picture look like to you? What are the goals that you want to accomplish? If you are able to see the big picture in your life, you don’t have to just live day-to-day. When you know your purpose, you will be motivated to live each day to your fullest potential.
2. Plan: Reaching your potential every day is about planning your day in alignment with what matters to you.
Focus on what is important in your life.
Plan your week every Sunday evening.
Set yourself up for success, not for failure. Create a to-do list for each day of the week. Have about 4-5 tasks that you want to accomplish each day.
3. Time Management: When you’re able to plan out your day and how you want to spend your time, you not only get more done but you also have extra time to spend on what you enjoy.
4. Positive Attitude: With a positive attitude, you’ll be able to stay focused on what you want to accomplish every day.
5. Stay focused on the task at hand: Anything that distracts you from completing a task needs to be put away. Put your phone on silent and out of sight!
6. Have goals: Long and short term goals. Take a piece of paper and write down what you want to accomplish now and in the future. It’s all about setting goals and then following through.
7. Embrace simplicity: Simplify what needs to get done before the day starts. If you can find different ways to save time and make your life simpler, you’ll be able to focus on reaching your fullest potential every day. (Ex: Pick out your outfit the night before)
8. Recharge: Taking the time to rest and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul will allow you to become re-energized for the next day. Use different strategies that help you relax. (Ex: meditation, yoga...)
9. Enjoy each moment: Enjoy the moments that you experience throughout each day. This will help you feel grateful and appreciative with what you have in your life. Although being productive is important, taking the time to enjoy each moment is important too.
How will you maximize your potential today? What are you willing to do?
Today's Challenge: It's persona! Make yourself a priority and refocus on the things that are important to you:
What does the big picture look like? Clarify that for yourself. Visualize it and write it down in detail.
Make a plan. What steps will you need to take to get what you want. Make a list and begin to check things off.
Manage your time: Make a Daily To Do List with 3 - 5 items on it. Stay focused! Checking things off as you complete each task will increase your productivity and you will feel good about the things you have accomplished.
Leaders: Share this with those in your professional circle and those you lead. Learn and grow together and hold each other accountable.
Don’t miss your opportunity . Be intentional, encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.
You got this!
