“The brain takes eighteen years to grow, and a lifetime to mature.”

-Dr. Caroline Leaf,

Cognitive Neuroscientist

How do the words above resonate with you?

Pause here for a moment and free yourself from distractions:

Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...

I was surprised to come across this subject while reading today's entry in “The Word for You Today." Relevant topic I confident you will find useful.

It is an interesting fact that every organ in the body was fully formed when you were born and got bigger as your body grew.

Your brain however, takes 18 years to fully form and continues to mature until the day you die.

No matter how old you are, your break is still growing.

Why is the fact your brain continues to grow good news?

Think about that for a moment... what could that mean for you..?

How might self-reflection help shift the way you think?

self-reflection | noun meditation or serious thought about one's character, actions, and motives.

You don’t have to stay stuck in old or faulty thought patterns. You can still improve your thinking. Knowledge is power!

Don’t miss your opportunity! Be intentional, encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.
