“All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.”
-William Shakespeare
Good morning,
Reading Gay Hendricks, A Year of Living Consciously, a few questions were posed that caught my attention:
If your family’s history were a drama, what would the title be?
Think about that for a moment, be creative... formulate a title in your mind...
Would it be:
-a tale of a fight for survival?
-of opposing forces in conflict?
-a travel story?
What role do you play in this drama?
Take a deep breath... be honest with yourself...
Are you:
-the prodigal son/daughter?
-the golden child?
-the one for whom all was sacrificed?
Something to think about... How has this role shaped your life..?
“I have called the principle, by which each slight variation, if useful, is preserved, by the term of Natural Selection.”
-Charles Darwin
What’s your family’s script? Will you change the narrative?
It’s up to you...
You got this!
