"If you wrote a book for each day of the year that has past... and then reread it on New Year's Eve, what things would you change... what things would you cherish..? Take the things that are cherished and vow to focus more on that in the coming New Year."
-Theodore W. Higginsworth
Great advice from Higginsworth's quote.
How does it resonate with you?
As you reflect on the past year, what are the things that you cherish?
Pause and think about that for a moment.,, take a deep breath... exhale slowly... be present with your thoughts...
As you reflect on the past year, what are the things that you cherish?
... sit with this and formulate an answer... grab a pen and a piece of paper and write those things down...
Cherished memories are something to be grateful for. What an excellent way to start this day off by reflecting and acknowledging the good that happened in 2019 and opening our hearts and minds to even better in the coming year.
As many of you prepare to celebrate the coming new year, I challenge you to remember to celebrate yourself;
Honor and acknowledge your courage and commitment to live differently and be better. #selfimprovement
Honor and acknowledge all the feelings that emerged along your journey. #selfawareness
Honor and acknowledge the people that supported you along the way. #relationships
Honor and acknowledge the words of wisdom, words of encouragement, chance meetings, emails, social media posts, quote from a book... that amazingly seemed to appear at exactly the right moment. #gratitude
"Another fresh new year is here... Another year to live! To banish worry, doubt and fear, to live and laugh and give!"
I am grateful for the gift I've been given and the opportunity to share it with you all... I am humbled by the kind words and thank yous that have come from people that were encouraged by something I said or in one of my messages they received... I thank God for all the lessons learned in 2019 and look forward to bountiful blessings in 2020!
I'm ready, are you?
#learnandgrow, #2020goals, #bepositive, #selfawareness, #relationships, #levelup, #selfimprovement, #shareyourgifts, #courage, #commitment, #beabetteryou, #authenticity,
