"We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far."
-Swami Vivekananda
How do the words above resonate with you?
Pause here for a moment and free yourself from distractions:
Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...
What have your thoughts made of you?
Think about that for a moment....
Who have you become?
What is the perception of others... how do you know...?
Thoughts are powerful things. More powerful perhaps than most of us even realize. I share some some wise words with you from “The Maxwell Leadership Bible":
1. Your thoughts become your character.
2. Be careful of your thoughts; they may break into words at any time.
3. Don’t waste your thoughts on those who don’t hunger for them.
4. The first person you lead is you, and the first organ you master is your mind.
5. Don’t let your mind drift away from God’s truth and into vain envy.
6. Stay confident that your vision will come to pass.
7. *Discipline your thoughts to remain steadfast in what you know is right.
Reread 1 through 7 above. Consider your thoughts and ask yourself:
Where do I start? What am I willing to do?
It starts with YOU...
Don't miss your opportunity! Be intentional, encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.
We got this!
