“Miracles happen every day. Not just in remote country villages or at holy sites halfway across the globe, but here, in our own lives.”

-Deepak Chopra

How do the words above resonate with you?

Pause here for a moment and free yourself from distractions:

Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...

Miracles are life’s blessings. Sometimes we forget, or get so caught up in the troubles of the world, we miss the many miracles life offers us. You are one of them.

In your own words, how do you define a miracle? Think about that for a moment... Sit with the question until you can articulate an answer...

miracle /noun/

-a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.

-a highly improbable or extraordinary event, development, or accomplishment that brings very welcome consequences.

-an amazing product or achievement, or an outstanding example of something. (Oxford Languages)

In the book, A Year of Living Consciously, Psychologist, writer, and teacher in the field of personal growth and relationships, Gay Hendricks, speaks about miracles. Hendricks explains:

A miracle is made of magic. Something most people believe wasn’t supposed to happen.
Some miracles are winks from the universe, huge and life changing and fate charged.
Others are waiting to happen in each choice you make, in each moment of your life.
Know you are in charge of the chance to have miracles in your life...

“Believe in your heart that you’re meant to live a life full of passion, purpose, magic, and miracles.” -Roy T. Bennett

Consider these tips to create miracles in your life.

Do These 5 Things to Create a Miracle in Your Life

by, J. Marie Novak believeandcreate.com

1. Be grateful for everything: When you’re grateful for what’s coming your way, your entire energy changes. You become a light in the darkness. You shift your perspective from scarcity to abundance. The more gratitude you feel and express … the more things you find to be grateful for.

What are you grateful for? Call to mind your top 3...

2. Stop Using “I Don’t Know What to Do” As an Excuse to Do Nothing: When you take a positive step in your life a way forward will appear. And don’t be surprised if the positive step you take leads to something that’s completely unrelated to the action you took. Positive action nets positive rewards. The more positive action you take, the more you’re rewarded.

What is one step you can take to move forward? One thing you can do right now...

3. Step Out of Your Routine: “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” We all have to be willing to step out of our routines … broaden our horizons … bust through comfort zones. Miracles are not beyond your grasp, but you may need to extend your reach to receive the miracles you’ve been longing for.

What can you do differently?

4. Help Others Receive the Miracles They’re Praying For: When you do things to help others experience their miracles, you get to experience the pure bliss of being a giver. That’s a pretty miraculous gift to give yourself!

How can you do for others today? big or small... make someone's day...

5. Trust in Your Higher GPS: We all have an inner knowing in us … a Divine GPS if you will … that can help us get where we want to go. Divine wisdom trumps our human minds every single time. Your Higher GPS is not in your mind … it’s in your heart … it’s in your soul. When you tune into it, and when you trust what it is telling you, you invite miracles into your life.

How will you trust yourself more today?

Today’s Challenge: Journal Activity

(from Gay Hendricks A Year of Living Consciously)

  1. Call to mind a miracle that occurred in your life.

  2. What part did you play in making that miracle? Don't sell yourself short... in retrospect, what lead you there...

  3. What miracle would you like to occur in your life? Think big, the sky's the limit... What do you want..?

  4. How will you make it happen..? What part will you play? Be creative, confident, what steps can you take...

  5. Now give thanks!

“Miracles are those lovely things that you see when you shift your focus from your thoughts to the present moment.” – Liam Tinker

What are you willing to do?

Don’t miss your opportunity! Be intentional, encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.

You got this!
