“My relationships are a true reflection of me.”

-Iyanla Vanzant

How do the words above resonate with you?

Pause here for a moment and free yourself from distractions:

Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...

All of my go to reading and meditation material were in perfect sync this this morning seemed to be in perfect sync. Vanzant’s perspective may be one that is not our usual. Think about it. When we find ourselves in challenging relationships, it’s much easer to find fault with the other person. …What they did, …W hat they should have done...

…Where they went wrong...

John C Maxwell shares in his message to leaders: “All leaders desire results, but being must precede doing.”

To attract better people, you must be a better person yourself.
To achieve greater results you must be a person of great character.

Being willing to do the inner work on ones self will prove to get you the results you desire.

Look in the mirror (figuratively or literally).

What do your relationships reveal about you? Think about that for a moment...

What disturbing or annoying things keep appearing that only you can clear up? Spend some time here...

“Being entirely honest with oneself is a good exercise.” -Sigmund Freud

Today’s Challenge: Take time to reflect on relationships and be open to doing the work.

Think of any relationship, personal or professional that has cooled off or soured this past year. Ask yourself:

What would happen if I make contact with that person and shared my feelings or discussed what happened?

Are you willing to unburden yourself..? Make the first move..? Do your part..?

It’s up to YOU! Don’t miss your opportunity. Be intentional. Encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.

You got this!
