Monday Madness:

Tavia Robinson

"Those who do not learn a lesson from history, for those the history repeats itself until it learns."

-Shiva Negi

Pause here a free yourself from distractions:

Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...

I read something this morning in, Until Today by Iyanla Vanzant, that immediately captured my attention:

"I will gain more understanding when I realize I have been a captive audience for the reruns of my life." Think about that for a moment...

What patterns have repeated in your life that you would prefer did not? … Don't over analyze... be open... what comes to mind,,?

The author refers to how most of us have excuses and explanations for why we haven’t gotten around to doing what we say we want to do. We retell the story over and over again, with only slight alterations, never seeming to get over the hurdle and out of the loop we’ve created.

How will you break the cycle? give this some thought...

If you ready to move forward, and have not been as successful as you had hoped, here is Vanzant's suggestion: Live your life in simple sentences!

  • Live in simple sentences:

Stop over analyzing, replaying, and reliving the same story: that run-on sentence, loaded with excess baggage, excuses, and high drama.

  • Put a period at the end of an experience:

Live your life in simple sentences of what is now. Don't dwell in the past.

  • Identify where you are going now:

Focus on what you desire and clarify what you need to do to make it happen.

  • Describe your past in simple sentences:

Look for the clear an simple lesson. Learn and grow. Put the period there. Now, look forward not backward.

Today's Challenge: Live your life in simple sentences. Start today!

  • Identify a pattern you desire to break:

  • Focus on what you desire NOW

  • Clarify what you need to do to make it happen.

  • Work on it everyday!

Live your life, create your dreams and set your goals with simple sentences. Don't miss your opportunity.

What are you willing to do?

Be intentional... Encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.

You got this!
