”There is an amazing power getting to know your inner self and learning how to use it and not fight with the world. If you know what makes you happy, your personality, interests and capabilities, just use them, and everything else flows beautifully.”
– Juhi Chawla
How do the words above resonate with you?
Pause here for a moment and free yourself from distractions:
Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...
Well, it would be difficult to argue with the author of the quote above if you happen to be fortunate enough to be alive and breathing. Admittedly, not easy to do.
The question then becomes...
How are you living? Think about it for a moment... is this life what you envisioned..?
Iyanla Vanzant shares an important perspective about life:

Be willing to acknowledge and embrace the ups and downs as well as the highs and lows of life.
There are some important things to do in order to make it through the ups and downs of life.
When you are high:
Discipline yourself to avoid taking on more than you can do because you feel like you can do it all. Take your time in doing whatever you are doing so that you will not be forced to redo or overdo at a later time.
When you are low:
Allow yourself to remember you are human and that life goes on. It renews itself each day, offering you the opportunity to do the same. Be patient with yourself and what you feel for at least forty-eight hours. After that, pick yourself up, pump yourself up. Spruce yourself up in anticipation of the next wave of feeling good.
“Life has got to be lived... that’s all there is to it.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
A few questions to ask yourself:
Who are you? your true, authentic self... Spend some time exploring this answer..
What’s important to you? Make a list... big things... little things... everything that is important to you...
If this were your last day, would this be what you would want to do? Reflect on where you are... what you do... your job/profession... social life... personal life... family...
What would living your best life look like to you? Visualize it... summon your creative energy... the skies the limit...
