Good Morning Friends... Independence Day is on the horizon once again... I thought about what today's topic would be and this memory surfaced from last year leading with Oprah’s quote. This time the quote hit differently as I focused on the word “breathing”... “If you are still breathing you have a second chance.”
The world is in crisis. Watching the news can be depressing and overwhelming. Don’t lose hope.
The Chinese word for crisis is made up of two symbols:
CRISIS = OPPORTUNITY + CHANGE
We have gone through much. So far we've made it through some difficult times. It was no accident we survived, We've got work to do.!
Tomorrow is not promised. While you still have breath in your body, I challenge you to continue the fight. Fight in the name of those who unfortunately didn’t make it. Fight for the youth, our children, who we share this earth with. Fight for what’s right. Fight to put an end to systemic racism, inequality, and racial oppression. Together, let’s make history, and create a world that is better for ALL.
