“The love we desire is already within us.”

-A Course in Miracles

How do the words above resonate with you?

Pause here for a moment and free yourself from distractions:

Take a deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... deep breath in... exhale slowly... calm your mind and be present...

What is your definition of this thing thing called love? Think about that or a moment... how would you define love in your own words..?

love /noun/:

  • an intense feeling of deep affection

  • a great interest and pleasure in something

  • warm enthusiasm, or devotion

  • unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another

How are you living with love? Spend some time with this question...

Iyanla Vansant shares powerful words of wisdom on the subject of love: form the book Acts of Faith: Daily Meditations for People of Color

The best thing we can do for ourselves and the people with whom we have relationships is to love unconditionally, forgive without reservation, and to accept ourselves and others exactly as we are.
When you can be gentle and compassionate with yourself you will feel love.

In what ways can you be gentler and more compassionate to yourself?

When you can be nonjudgmental toward yourself, you will experience love.

How can you accept yourself without judgement?

When you can trust yourself and tell yourself the truth you will express love.

What truth about yourself are you hiding from?

It is then that you will attract more of who and what you are into your life...
Love is the cooperative, harmonizing, accepting, forgiving essence of your soul.

It starts with you!

How strong is your relationship with self?

“Be devoted to putting forth the effort and energy required to gain clarity at the beginning of all relationships.” -Iyanla Vanzant

Today’s Challenge: Inspired by Gay Hendricks and Iyanla Vanzant

1. Take time to reflect on love and your relationship with self and others.

2. Consider your most significant adult relationships...

3. QUESTION: In what relationship has your ego strangled the presence of love?

“A relationship is between two or more people who are each 100 percent responsible for what goes right and what goes wrong... anything less is an entanglement.”

-Gay Hendricks

What are you willing to do?

Don’t miss your opportunity! Be intentional, encourage others to do the same and watch what happens.

You got this!
